This Pride-themed weekend is packed with activities, entertainment, and community fun. From our annual Pride Parade through the campground to the lively community street fair and thrilling field games, there’s something for everyone. End the day on a high note with the Pride Dance Party featuring DJ Pengwin. It’s the perfect way to celebrate love, inclusivity, and the start of a wild summer! 🌈

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Join us for the first Gay Camping event of the summer at Eagle Creek Campground from June 13-15, 2025!
Celebrate Pride in the great outdoors with a weekend full of fun, festivities, and fabulous entertainment. Here's what we have planned for this unforgettable event:
🌈 Pride Parade
Kick off the weekend by joining our annual Pride Parade as it winds through the campground with lively beats and sweet treats. Want to march with us or cheer from the sidelines? Everyone’s welcome to join the fun!
🎪 Community Street Fair
Shop and explore our vibrant street fair featuring exclusive Gay Camping merch, including mugs, tumblers, apparel, free stickers, and more! Browse a curated selection of vendors from your favorite LGBTQ+ local businesses.

Hunt for treasures and win amazing Gay Camping prizes in our Pride-themed scavenger hunt.

Eagle Creek Campground is a gay, adults-only, private membership facility. All guests must have a membership and be at least 18 years old prior to attending.

EAGLE CREEK CAMPGROUND
Located on a picturesque property found just southwest of Alder Flats, AB, Eagle Creek Campground offers an accessible retreat for Alberta locals and destination travelers alike. Only two hoops and a holler away from Buck Lake, this campground has everything you’ll need to enjoy a weekend escape.
The campground features over 80+ campsites, an 8 room motel, and 7 rustic cabins. All these varied lodgings and sites circle a unique western village replica, complete with a saloon, restaurant, event hall, and many other period-inspired buildings.
Eagle Creek’s bathroom facilities include flush toilets and showers.

REGISTRATION & BOOKING
Eagle Creek Campground requires a $15 seasonal membership for all guests attending the property. Memberships must be registered ONLINE by each person individually for the waiver acknowledgement. All guests must be at least 18 years of age. Please make sure all guests are registered prior to arrival. A fee of $15 per person arriving unregistered will be applied to the booking in addition to the $15 membership fee for that individual. New memberships are required for each new season and expire at the end of each season.

Check-in starts at 2:00PM on the day of your reservation. Early check-in may be available only with prior arrangement. When you arrive at the gate, please call the number on the sign with your full name on the reservation and site information.
Make sure all guests are registered prior to arrival. A $15 additional fee per person arriving unregistered will be applied to the booking.
Check-in ends at 8:00PM. If you will be late, contact Eagle Creek to make alternate arrangements 403-829-7345.
Check-out time is 12:00PM (noon) on your day of departure.

Eagle Creek offers a selection of amenities including food & beverage, water station, firewood, bathrooms, showers, and flush toilets.
Food & Beverages
Food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of your stay.
General Store
The general store carries a variety of camping essentials. No food/beverage.
Restaurant
Thew restaurant is open for dinner service on Saturdays from 5:30pm – 7:30pm and Sundays for buffet brunch from 10:00am – 1:00pm
Bar/Saloon
Open based on the event schedule. Check in with the camp for more details.
Serving standard highballs, canned beer, and cooler options
Drink ticket style with $5.00 per drink
Ice & Firewood
NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD ALLOWED
Ice & firewood can be ordered in advance or on-site from the online store
Orders placed before 8:00PM will be delivered the same day

Water fill station and sewage disposal options available on and off the campgrounds

Water is potable and may be filled from the hose at the showers. Although the water is potable, we still recommend you bring your own bottled water for personal consumption.

We all love our pets! Be fair to your pet and other campers. Please make sure your pet is “camping friendly” prior to your arrival. Aggressive dogs or those that experience separation anxiety are best left at home.

No liability insurance is provided for the protection of individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, attendees, speakers, sponsors, performers or others who may participate, in any capacity, in events organized, co-organized, promoted and/or sponsored by Gay Camping Alberta Facebook Group (“Gay Camping Alberta Events”), whether free or paid events.
